My Review of “Lunch Notes to Our Children”

I always loved getting lunch notes in my box as a kid. I loved knowing that my mom was thinking about me during the day. Before I homeschooled, I felt disconnected from my daughter while she was away at school. Even though she was only gone a few hours each day, I desperatley wanted to be a part of her school day. I’m sure I’m not the only parent that feels this way!

I loved reading this book, especially since I have school-age children. In “Lunch Notes to Our Children, Nicole Hewitt gives thoughtful and practical reasons how and why we should send a piece of the Gospel with our kids each day. Each chapter is broken down into spiritual topics and lunch note ideas to go along with them.

I think you’ll find that when you implent these short, practical tips, you’ll find that you’ll not only encourage your children, but yourself as well.

The practical tips in this book is a great way to connect with your children on an emotional and spiritual level. Taking just a few moments to write your child a personal note for their lunch box can be a wonderful way to boost their spirits.

I highly recommend this book to every parent! You can find this book here.
