We love audio dramas, so I was excited to have my son listen to The Adventum, Volume 1. We’ve been listening in the car on our way to our homeschool co-op in the mornings. If you love audio dramas, especially those that make Scripture come alive, then trying The Adventum is a great option.
What Is the Adventum?
The Adventum is an amazing, gripping, and intense audio series that encompasses the story of Genesis. Listening to these Biblical adaptations make you feel as though you are actually experiencing the story with these characters. While there are many details, we are privy to in regards to the characters of Genesis, the audio characters do a great job of filling possible thoughts and details the Biblical characters may have been thinking and feeling.
Incorporating Audio Dramas In Your Homeschool
Morning Time, Bible Time, Family Devotions, or car trips are wonderful times to incorporate audio dramas in your homeschool. If you’re wondering how these can add to your curriculum, don’t worry. There is no shortage of areas you can add audio dramas like The Adventum to your homeschool days.
We used the episodes in the car when we traveled to our local co-op. Since we used the physical CDs, I felt there were fewer opportunities to listen to them. However, they are also available in digital copies and can be downloaded as MP3 downloads, leaving various options for playing. Most of the episodes are about 20 minutes long.
